Donald Trump is touching down in Las Vegas tomorrow to gaslight voters on his affordability crisis. Trump spent all of 2024 promising Nevadans cheaper prices, 50% lower energy bills within a year, and that he’d “end inflation.” He also told Nevada crowds he would “prevent World War III 100 percent” and boasted he was “proud to be the first president in decades to have started no new wars.” Fast-forward to 2026: he’s launched a war with Iran, Nevada’s State Treasurer is demanding a $2.1 billion refund from the federal government for Trump’s unconstitutional tariff overcharges, and Nevada families are still struggling to keep up with the rising costs of Trump’s affordability crisis. Not one promise Trump made to Nevadans in 2024 has been kept — and his policies have only made things worse.
