Airports all around the country are completely engulfed in chaos, with 3+ hour lines stretching out to parking lots as TSA agents near their sixth week of lapsed funding – all thanks to Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress. To date, the GOP has blocked seven attempts to extend federal funding for TSA paychecks, and over the weekend, Trump instructed the GOP to refuse any deal to fund the TSA without holding elections hostage. Instead, Trump is sending untrained ICE agents to airports across the country. While Trump and his cronies get to fly around the world in luxury jets, the rest of us have to wait hours in overcrowded airports as tens of thousands of TSA agents go without pay and rely on donated lunches. Just like the rest of Trump’s agenda, this is just the latest instance of the President having absolutely no regard for the lives of working Americans.
