Tomorrow Donald Trump is touching down in Rome, Georgia to gaslight voters on his affordability crisis. Trump spent all of 2024 promising Georgians cheaper prices, 50% lower energy bills within a year, and that he’d “end inflation.” Fast-forward to 2026 and he’s accomplished none of it. In fact, things have only gotten worse for Georgia families, who are struggling to keep up with the rising costs from Trump’s tariffs. Not one promise Trump made to Georgians in 2024 has been kept and in fact his policies have only made things worse.
