New Report: One Year Since Bondi’s Binders Stunt, Trump’s Epstein Files Cover-Up Goes On

By February 26, 2026March 2nd, 2026No Comments

Today, Defend America Action released a comprehensive report marking the one year anniversary tomorrow of Attorney General Pam Bondi’s Epstein binders stunt and documenting the Trump administration’s systematic cover-up of the actual Epstein files. Despite promises of “full transparency,” Bondi has spent the past twelve months protecting Donald Trump and the Epstein Class while exposing victims and blocking accountability at every turn – including the blockbuster revelations this week that dozens of pages of the files which credibly accuse Doanld Trump of sexually assaulting a minor are missing.

Over and over last year, Bondi promised “client lists” and “truckloads” of evidence, then quietly insisted there’s no there there. Congress passed near-unanimous legislation to finally get transparency, accountability, and justice for Epstein’s victims, then Trump’s Department of Justice blew through legal deadlines and declared its review “over” with millions of files still hidden. The administration claimed it was “protecting victims,” then left dozens of victims’ names, nude photosSocial Security numbers, and bank accounts exposed while carefully redacting Trump’s face and scrubbing accusations against him from the files.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world is doing what Trump’s government refuses to do. In the UK, Norway, France, Slovakia, and Poland, people named in the Epstein files are rightfully resigning, being investigated, or facing charges. But here, Trump shrugs off more than a million internal references to his own name, insisting he’s “totally exonerated.”

At least half a dozen Trump cabinet officials appear in the files, including Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who admitted under oath to visiting Epstein’s island with his family in 2012, four years after Epstein became a convicted sex offender. The White House continues to stand by Lutnick while Bondi uses congressional hearings to attack the very idea of oversight instead of answering basic questions.

Polls show Americans believe Trump was involved in crimes committed by Epstein, and that he’s trying to cover it up. But the American Epstein Class will always protect its own, accountability, transparency, and justice be damned.
