BY THE NUMBERS: Disastrous Trump Polling Numbers Roll In As He Plans Birthday Parade, Sends the Military After Protestors, and Continues Tanking The Economy

The latest poll numbers are in, and they’re yet another disaster for Donald Trump: his tax scam bill is “toxically unpopular,” 3 in 4 Americans disapprove of his military parade set to take place in D.C. this weekend, nearly half of Americans oppose of his military response to protests in Los Angeles, and American voters broadly disapprove of his tariff policies and overall handling of the economy.

  • 💸  MOST AMERICANS OPPOSE TRUMP’S TAX SCAM:
    • 70 percent of voters oppose cuts to Medicaid and food assistance (Hart Research).
    • 68 percent of voters oppose Trump’s tax breaks for the wealthy (Hart Research). 
    • 70 percent of voters expressed major concern over the bill raising families’ costs for groceries and health care through cuts to SNAP, Medicaid, and ACA tax credits (Hart Research).
    • 70 percent of voters expressed major concern over the bill raising costs on 80 million poor and middle class households (Hart Research).
  • 🎖️ MOST AMERICANS OPPOSE TRUMP’S MILITARY PARADE:
    • 76 percent of Americans oppose spending $45 million to hold a large parade of soldiers, weapons, and combat vehicles on the streets of Washington, D.C., in celebration of the Army’s 250th birthday and President Trump’s birthday (PRRI).
    • Even among Trump supporters, a majority oppose the military parade (PRRI).
  • 🪖 AMERICANS BROADLY DISAPPROVE OF SENDING THE MILITARY AFTER PROTESTORS.
    • Just 34 percent of Americans supported sending Marines after protestors in Los Angeles, and only 38 percent said they approve of Trump’s decision to send in National Guard troops (YouGov).
    • More Americans think Trump’s deportation program will weaken than strengthen the economy (CBS News).
    • A majority of Americans disapprove of Trump’s approach to deportations (CBS News).
